To fulfill the vision of a self reliant, proud and strong Bharat, Keshav Srishti, Uttan has been developed as a hub of social service projects covering diverse aspects of integrated development. Keshav Srushti is situated in the lap of Mother Nature at a distance of about 35 km from Mumbai airport. The campus, spread over 200 acres of lush green valley with agricultural land, fruit bearing trees, herbal plants and forest wealth, carries an unimaginable aura of peace. The gaushala and old age home run by the Charitable Trust mainly work under the guidance of Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

Keshav Srushti Gaushala: At present, the gaushala has around 4 acres of land, which is well developed and fenced. There are various cow shelters, fodder and dry grass godowns, an office building, a manufacturing unit to make products based on cow dung and cow urine (gomutra), a small R&D centre and a gobar gas plant along with arrangements to make vermin compost. Presently, the gaushala has around around 200 cows. All of them are of India breed. On an average, 42-45 cows are in lactation throughout the year, yielding around 200-220 litres of milk each day. The gaushala’s mission is to protect and save the govansha of Bharatiya origin form the butcher’s knife and make the same economically viable by making use of cow dung and urine.

The primary areas of working are gaushala, veterinary, ayurveda, cosmetology, science of nutrition, agriculture based on organic manure, power based on gobar gas and bullock energy. The most important function is to promote govansha which is the fulcrum to keep a positive ecological balance. Presently, the gaushala manufactures various products based on cow dung and urine. The products manufactured are certain ayurvedic products, general products like dhoop sticks and most important product like vermin compost and pest repellants from cow urine. Keshav Srushti Gaushala is achieving new milestones every year and it shall soon become the county’s first financially self-sufficient gaushala.

Kisangopal Rajpuria Vanaprasthashram (old age home): Our ancient culture recommends that we retire after completing domestic responsibilities and should stay in the company of nature: Vanaprasthashram. Because of the growing trend of a nuclear family and small houses in metros, senior citizens live in a deprived condition after retirement. Understanding the growing threat to the social security of the senior citizens, Keshav Srushti has arranged a place of peace for them where special facilities can be provided to senior citizens to lead a quality and respectable life. All senior citizens live happily in each other’s company sharing their emotions and don’t feel lonely even if they are away from their homes.

The ashram has a tie up with Bhakti Vedant hospital for emergency cases as well as general OPD. All the festivals are celebrated with religious fervor with active participation of the residents.

RSS workers at rescue operations at Chitheri (Train Accident), Tamilnadu

SWAYAMSEVAKS AT CHITHERI RELIEF WORK

A sleepy village (Chitheri) in Tamilnadu-Vellore District which is 90 kms off Chennai went on deaf when two trains, the Chennai Beach-Vellore Cantonment Mainline Electrical Multiple Unit (MEMU) train crashed into the stationary Arakonam-Katpadi passenger from behind while it was waiting at the signal. The impact of the collision is so powerful that three coaches of the stationary train and two of MEMU train were thrown off the track. Around 10 persons were killed and 100 were injured.

Despite heavy rains and pitched darkness, nine Swayamsevaks of Arakonam, along with the National Disaster Response Force personnel, Naval personnel from INS Rajali, Special Commando Force plunged into rescue and relief operations immediately.

Immediately after the tragic incident took place, Swayamsevaks led by Kanchi Jilla Karyavah Sri Vasudevachandar reached the accident spot near Arakkonam to help the victims.  With the help of Dhandas carried with them they retrieved some dead bodies caught between the coach and the track.  Under the guidance of Police and Railway authorities, they also helped to send the injured to various hospitals.  Under the very trying circumstances--raining and dark-Swayamsevaks' role, particularly their preparedness with Dhanda, torch lights etc. were well noticed by the other rescuing personnel.

RSS to Support all Kinds of anti-corruption movements, even Advani’s yatra against corruption.

New Delhi: RSS Senior Functionary Sri Ram Madhav said that “All affiliates of the RSS have already been asked to actively participate in all anti-corruption campaigns, as we did in the Anna Hazare-led movement. RSS will Support all Kinds of anti-corruption movements, even if it is Advani’s yatra against corruption.”

NewDelhi: Some time between now and the start of the winter session of Parliament, veteran Bharatiya Janata Party leader L.K. Advani will once again undertake a ‘yatra’ and traverse the whole country to raise awareness against corruption.

“I will undertake a ‘yatra’ against corruption. The details are being worked out. Adhyakshji [Nitin Gadkari] has agreed,” Mr. Advani, flanked by the two leaders of Opposition Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley, announced at a press conference here on Thursday.

Asked whether this signalled that he would be his party’s prime ministerial candidate during the next Lok Sabha election, Mr. Advani replied: “phir wahi ghisi piti baat [you are again on the same old subject].”

Did he think that a mid-term election was possible? Mr. Advani repeated what he recently said in Nellore, but stopped short of asking for an early election, which he had done in Nellore.

“I said a few days ago this government’s legitimacy is over. The government may not think that, but I do believe the government’s mandate is exhausted.”

The ‘yatra’ would be “more or less like the earlier ones.” It would be against corruption and would focus on clean politics, he said.

‘A suggestion’
When a reporter asked him whether he intended to go through Bellary during his ‘yatra’, his response was that it was a suggestion.

Would Mr. Advani invite Anna Hazare to join the ‘yatra’? In response, he simply folded his hands as if to say ‘excuse me.’

On the proposed ‘yatra’ RSS spokesperson Ram Madhav said “all affiliates of the RSS have already been asked to actively participate in all anti-corruption campaigns, as we did in the Anna Hazare-led movement.”

The last ‘rath-yatra’ undertaken by the 84-year-old BJP leader was the ‘Uday Yatra’ in March-April 2004 ahead of the election that year. At that time, he was master of the BJP party machine, unlike this time when Nitin Gadkari is in the saddle as party president.

His most famous one was the ‘Ram rath yatra’ from Somnath to Ayodhya in 1990 – cut short at Samastipur by Lalu Prasad who arrested him. The BJP then withdrew support to the V.P. Singh government leading to its fall and a fresh election.

RSS press release on Lokpal Bill and COMMUNAL & TARGETED VIOLENCE (PREVENTION) BILL

FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION:

 

 The country has witnessed an unprecedented upsurge of patriotic sentiments against the corrupt and arrogant political leadership of the country. Led by eminent non-political leaders like Sri Anna Hazare, Sri Ramdeo Baba and others this popular upsurge has demonstrated the unthinkable - that the power of the united society is paramount and the Government of the day must heed to the peaceful voices of millions of the countrymen - young and old, rich and poor, men and women.

 

The RSS has, through a resolution passed at Puttur, Karnataka in March this year, exhorted it's Swayamsevaks to fully support all the initiatives in the country against corruption in all forms. Following that resolution the RSS members have been actively supporting all these movements.

 

The RSS fully endorses the demand for a strong Lokpal that covers the office of the Prime Minister as well. The Government and some leaders of the ruling Party have demonstrated uncalled for arrogance in addressing the issues raised by Sri Anna Hazare. The RSS condemns this attitude and calls for sincere efforts by all parties to bring in effective Lokpal at the earliest.

 

While the Lokpal addresses one major dimension of the problem of corruption, there are several other dimensions to it like the black money. More importantly the fight against corruption will succeed only when it also includes fight against the corrupt. The RSS calls upon the countrymen to continue this campaign against corruption and extends full support from it's cadres to all the future initiatives in this direction.

 

COMMUNAL AND TARGETED VIOLENCE (PREVENTION) BILL:

 

 

Attempts by a section of the intelligentsia, under the garb of the National Advisory Council - NAC, to bring in a dangerous and draconian Bill with the above title are highly reprehensible. The NAC is just an NGO lacking any locus standi. It consists of a bunch of pseudo-intellectuals whose only credentials happen to be their anti-Hindu rhetoric and intimacy with Smt. Sonia Gandhi.

The Bill that they intend to force on the people of the country is dangerous for our already fragile social harmony situation. It is explicitly biased against the Majority community i.e. the Hindus. It projects them as solely responsible for the communal violence in the country.

 

Where a sincere effort to bring all the communities closer is urgently needed, there this Bill does just the opposite. It attempts to widen the gulf and acrimony between communities and thus is a fodder for anti-national and anti-Hindu forces.

The RSS warns that the country will not take this monstrous Bill lying down and resist it on all forums including political and popular ones.

Digvijay booked for remarks against RSS by Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Allahabad

The Chief Judicial Magistrate Court in Allahabad on Friday ordered registration of a case against Congress leader Digvijay Singh for this statement in Ujjain on July 18 calling RSS a bomb making factory.

Singh had said the "RSS was spreading terrorism in the country and it has been making bomb factories."

The Congress general secretary had earlier courted controversy when he said that he did not rule out the involvement of Sangh in Mumbai serial blasts.

While the RSS and the BJP had slammed him, the Congress had washed its hands off the comments.

"We pity the situation a senior leader like Digvijay Singh finds himself in.... He has started acting like a street bully. We pity him," RSS leader Ram Madhav had said earlier.

"It is very unfortunate that Digvijay Singh is deliberately trying to provoke and seeking to change the entire investigation into the Mumbai serial blasts. It is BJP's charge that he is deliberately trying to communalise the fight against terror for petty political gains," BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad had said.

The Congress had said that "unnecessary speculation" did not help when an investigation was going on.

"It would be better if you put this question to him," was the repeated refrain of party spokesperson Manish Tewari to questions on whether the party endorsed Singh's remarks on the RSS.

NewDelhi: The RSS today rejected the apology tendered by Aziz Burney, the editor of an Urdu newspaper, for hinting in a book that the organisation was behind the 26/11 conspiracy and said that the criminal case against him would not be withdrawn.

"The apology tendered by Aziz Burney is in RSS' view not sufficient ground to withdraw the case registered against him in a Navi Mumbai court", senior RSS leader Ram Madhav said here.
He said the charges against Burney are "much more serious" as his writings tantamount to treason and, hence, RSS would not accept his apology nor withdraw the case against him.

Burney hit national headlines in December 2010 when he wrote a book titled 'RSS Ka Shadyantra, 26/11 (RSS conspiracy, 26/11)' and invited Congress leader Digvijay Singh to its launch.
Burney had compiled his articles written on the 26/11 terror strikes and the conspiracy behind them into the book, where he had differed from the investigating agencies' conclusion that no saffron terror activists were involved in the carnage.

It was at this book's launch on December 6 where Singh had said that Mumbai ATS chief Hemant Karkare had called him, hours before he was killed in the terror attacks, to tell him about threats he had received for probing Hindu extremists and their terror links.

Burney, however, tendered an apology on January 29, saying that he would like to "clarify and apologise if he has hurt anyone by the title of his book and is happy to change the title" if that would assuage feelings.

Claiming that he did not want to weaken India's stand in the fight against terror or link RSS to the incident, he urged the organisation to withdraw the case registered against him.

RSS sources said that, notwithstanding Burney's apology, the complainant of the case Vinay Joshi is likely to send a legal notice via his lawyer to senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh for "joining the debate with Burney" and making public statements regarding RSS' alleged role in 26/11 conspiracy.

Since last two years I am writing various articles regarding 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.You had filed court suit against me and Sahara Publications in Navi Mumbai court for my articles regarding Mumbai attack. I never wrote anything to deliberately hurt the feelings of anyone. But if you are disturbed or hurt due to any article or anything I quoted in my article,then I am extremely sorry for this.Hope you would accept my apology.

Also I am requesting you for the immediate withdrawal of court case filed against me in Navi Mumbai court,as it is creating professional difficulties for me and I cannot afford to bear cost of litigation.I never intended to target India's security apparatus and any patriotic organisation working in India. but if there are any references made in my articles by mistake then I am really sorry for that. I assure you that I will not write anything in future that may hurt anyone and I will take utmost care for the same.Expecting quick withdrawal of court case once again.
