| Sar Sangh Chalak Dr. Mohan Bhagvat warned center of nation-wide stir against separatist formulae in Kashmir |
Jammu, September 24 : RSS Sar-Sangh Chalak (chief) Dr. Mohan Bhagvat has said that RSS will oppose any proposed formulae by interlocutors to grant autonomy to Kashmir. Dr. Bhagvat, who is on a five day tour of the state, was addressing a intellectual meet at the Jammu Club. He warned of a nation-wide agitation if congress-led Govt. tried to forcefully dictate any autonomy-like formulae.
Dr. Bhagvat cautioned the central Govt. that, playing with sovereignty of the country will not be tolerated in any manner. He accused central Govt. led by Congress of playing dirty game for mere vote bank politics & short term gains. Jammu & Kashmir is a very sensitive state encircled by hostile neighbours like Pakistan & China, therefore its very critical to encourage the Nationalist feelings in the local population. Instead, the central ministers like P.Chidambaram are instigating separatist feelings & encouraging separatists to gain short term mileage in terms of vote bank of a particular community, Dr.Bhagvat stated.
Dr.Bhagvat warned that if central Govt. ever tried to implement any ‘pre-cooked’ separatist formulae, it will face the ‘very very strong’ country-wide agitation by the people of India. He called upon the society to strengthen nationalist feelings & nationalist forces to safeguard the integrity & sovereignty of India.
